Eugene Question

First off sorry if this has been asked before my search button isn't working. But anyways I'll be coming home next weekend for leave and was wondering how the OC environment is in Eugene since that is where I will be? Do I need a carry permit to carry loaded in Eugene? Since if I understand correctly some localities don't allow you to OC loaded. Thank you for any help. Maybe we can get a get together while I'm back there from the 15th to the 26th. Thanks

I have been told you cannot OC on Broadway downtown, but I have yet to find any laws that actually say that and I OC there almost every day with no problems.

i have said it here MANY times, the open carry of an unloaded pistol is stupid, if you NEED your pistol , you will not have time to LOAD it.... bad guys do not stop to allow you to ARM yourself..... if you are going to carry a non-loaded weapon in your holster, i recommend a roofing hammer over a pistol, it is a much better bludgeon!

I wasn't planning on carry unloaded I just wanted to make sure Eugene wasn't like that since I don't know many of the cops anymore and don''t want to be carring loaded when I'm not allowed to but any ways can't wait to get back to Oregon wish I was coming during football season so I could catch a duck game but oh well.
