Snoqualmie casino security kicked me out.

I'll try to make this short because typing on my phone sucks.
So I walked into the Snoqualmie casino and was immediately stopped by the greeter. She told me I couldn't have a gun. I showed her it empty and let her know I just didn't want to take my belt off in public to remove my holster. (I was dressed really nice and just had a haircut earlier today.) She said ok and I went straight to the slots. I was sitting for about 3mins and the lead security and two of his goons came to ask me to talk to them. "I assume you know what this is about." I replied I did not. He said he was having a lot of complaints from guests and told me I have to leave or take the holster off and place it my car. I told him I was leaving. So while they escorted me out, he kept asking if I understand. I told him NO! It's an empty piece of leather attached to my belt. He said I could just put it my vehicle and come back. I told him I would never come back.

Also, I called the desk while I was in the parking lot and the kind associate gave me the Director of Security's phone and extension #. He'll definitely get a call from me along with a letter to the Elders.

A whole bunch of complaints from guests? In three minutes, plus the walk to the slots? By a citizenry who rarely notices an OCd gun anywhere else outside a casino?

This little tactic has been pulled a number of time before. One complaint magnified into many. The singular becomes plural to give it more weight.

This assumes even one customer complained. More likely it was the greeter.

I know he was lying. My friends were on my strong side and it bleded with black slacks, belt, and long sleeve. I am always very aware and I think only two people looked at me in the face. All the others were looking at the girl I was with.
I never fall for that BS, but I was so dumbfounded I could do nothing but state my objection, tell them they were idiots for being scared of a piece of leather, and leave.

LOL. I thought about pulling the race card since i'm mostly American Indian. Maybe they had something against my tribe and my holster. We may go to war next week or something.

A bag of jellybeans in the gun holster and PEZ dispensers in the magazine holders.

If they are frightened of that, there is no hope for them.

(I carry enough on my belt in little leather holsters and such that 'print' - phone, camera, LED flashlight, keys - at a casino that you'd think I'd make 'em nervous, but no one has ever looked twice.)

If I could fit it in, I would ridicule the security guard for his obvious lie.

It won't change the outcome if they have already decided you are leaving, but there is no point in leaving an obvious lie unchallenged. Especially, once one realizes that the lie is not necessary. The casino had the right tokick out the holster withoutlying. Yet, the guard felt it was. Why? It doesn't really matter why. All that matters is that he thought it necessary, thus he was relying on it as a crutch of some sort. I have no problem with knocking out such crutches if it is not otherwise tactically unsound. Not that I consider this an important point in the overall scheme. It is a minor point.

One of the advantages of sorting things out after the fact is the opportunity to come up with better tactics in case it ever happens to another one of us.

Lets say the guard was using the plural to shift responsibility to other customers so the prospective profit...um...gambler would not be insulted and just drop off his holster in the car, returning to lose some money...um...gamble. Another tactic might be something likeadopting the attitude that you are so insulted by the obvious lie and blame-shifting thatthere is no way you are coming back in. "Jeezus Christ how do I know what you are going to blame on me with thenext customer who does something you don't like?"It could be almost entertaining watching them try to mollify that one.

Reminds me of one time, I had a gas station cashier panic and refuse to serve me because I had an empty drop down leg holster.

Of course, this was in New York and I had it on for work... I was headed home for the day... yeah.
