A lot of people have asked me to send them the files for my "Why I Carry" cards, my "No Guns=No $" cards, and some of my other design work. I don't mind sending these files, but I figured there HAD to be a better way to distribute these items besides individual emails...

So I've started an account on "scribd", which is a "warehouse" site where people can download files for free.

The first card I uploaded is my "no guns=no $" card, to give to businesses that post "no guns" signs. You can get it here:

http://www.scribd.com/doc/31168366/No-Weapons-Cards

If you check on my account page in the future, you will be able to see ALL the files I'm going to eventually upload:

Stay safe, and BE POLITE...

Most of the cards I'm going to put up are 2-sided.

So you need to print the first page, and then flip the sheet and run it through again to print the back of the card, which is the second page of the document.

I'll be posting a couple more cards later this week.

And I've got some designs for T-Shirts too, so if you have a package of those iron-on transfer sheets that you can run through an inkjet printer, you will be able to download some spiffy t-shirt transfer designs as well...

Glad to be of service!

I just posted a page that has the text that most people refer to as the "FOPA Transport Provision". This is the part of the US Code under the Firearms Owners Protection Act of 1986 that allows for interstate transport of firearms, and outlines the requirements for doing that legally.

Download, print, and put it in your portable safe in your car.

OK, I've uploaded a new version. This should fix any font problems you were having...

I revised/cleaned up the North Carolina OC Brochure that Rugerp345 did a few months ago. Here is the thread with his original brochure:

http://opencarry.mywowbb.com/forum41/37190.html

I was having a problem with the font he used, so I just decided to convert the whole thing to InDesign tighten up the formatting, and then make all the fonts "outlines" and make a new PDF so there would be no font issues.

Text is the same. Format is the same. I tightened up the margins so it folds more evenly, and I cleaned up the graphics a little too. I changed the font to Caslon, so it's a little easier to read in small point sizes.

Posted on my "Scribd" page:

I've added the Ohio OC flyer:

http://www.scribd.com/doc/32542113/OH-OC-Flyer

and the Pennsylvania OC flyer:

http://www.scribd.com/doc/32541968/PA-OC-Flyer

and the Virginia OC flyer:

Thanks to the folks on those State forums and to PAFOA and VCDL for their great work in making these flyers. I hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes by "warehousing" these documents. If anyone wants me to take them off my "Scribd" site, please let me know.

I'll be adding more of these flyers as I collect them. If anyone has anything else they'd like to see on my "document warehouse", let me know, and I'll see what I can do...

This is not a document on my "warehouse" but it is a resource that I think people will find VERY useful. This is a link to a website that generates a form letter FOIA request for State and Federal agencies:

http://www.rcfp.org/foialetter/index.php

Thanks for this link go out to a member of the Washington State forum, "M1gnr". He also sent me links to several Washington State-specific documents that I'll be posting later tonight...

If anyone else has documents they think would be well-suited to this project, PM me a link and description, and I'll post them up. This "OC Document Warehouse" project will only be made more useful with your help!

Thanks!

THANKS to Mike and John for making this thread a "sticky". :celebrate:celebrate:celebrate

I hope this "warehouse" becomes a useful resource for all my OC friends all over the country!

And thanks for all those OCDO members who are sending me links and files. Your help makes my job a LOT easier, and makes the content of this "warehouse" much more rich and useful for everyone!

More to come...
