I am a 39 year old, largely self-educated California native. I have been carrying a firearm for nearly 20 years. As a part time security guard, I took the PC832 course. I was first licensed to carry concealed in the early nineties and carried without incident until August 2007 when Sheriff Tom Bosenko revoked my license to carry concealed in response to contact I had with Redding Police officers while carrying exposed. I have no criminal record. I have been employed as a department manager for a small manufacturer for the past two years and previously had owned and run my own small business as a repair technician.

Disabled vet (USMC) with 18 years total service and 14 1/2 active duty.
Five years working in a lumber mill between tours in the Marines.
Five years post Marine Corps as a county transit department employee including building and maintaing police vehicles.
Former deputized member of county sheriffs department search and rescue (volunteer) and an elected officer in that organization.
During the five years post Marine Corps period I held an appointment to the Airport Planning Commission,ran for public office and was narrowly defeated, andwas appointed to the City Planning Commission where I served until I moved out of California.
Currently afull time college student working on my Associate of Science (business management) and then Bachelors degrees.
I am a certified SCUBA diver and alicensed Private Pilot.
EDIT ADD: Oh, I'm a white male, born and raised in the USofAbut I always put "african american" on all those pesky government forms (unless it's under oath) to make people realize that there are whites from africa.ADDING SOME MORE: Married 6 years,after being married for 14 1/2 thena widower for 2.

Now inspecting homes, just finished my 2 weeks of armored guard classes last week.
Entrepreneur! Keep it flowing.

I am a 50 year old former tug boat captain, licensed master mariner, TWIC card holder, General Contractor, college trained project manager, and presently working for Lowe's. The poor economy has devastated my industry--hence my underemployement.
I am a strict constructionist, conservationist (not an environmentalist), PETA (people eating tasty animals killed by their own hand), anti neo-Marxist, and free market lover. I am not a religious atheist nor am I a bible-thumping anything. I do believe in the judeo-christian ethic. Gays are cool until they rub their gayness in my face--I don't care what you do in your bedroom with another adult.
Anarchy, socialism, Communism, and fascism are bad forms of gubmint. We need the smallest government possible.
I have two kids and a really cool wife!
I have a great life!

PS: I mentioned the TWIC card because another poster did already. It is a federal ID that requires an FBI background check and allows a person, who is suitably employed, access to areas deemed sensitive or secureby TSA.
