Just curious if I am thinking correctly. From what I am gathering, I can open carry if I want and I can also carry concealed (I have a cwp from Iowa) So I should be fine with and owb holster and an untucked shirt. So if I have it on I am concealed and ok and if I get hot I can take it off and I am still good open carrying. Also, we are going to Deadwood, Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Bear Country USA and whatever else that peaks our interest in that area. Any place that I should disarm and leave it in the car or will I be good to go as long as I am not in the obvious off limits areas (schools, banks, places that make more than 50% from alcohol, and fed buildings) Just wanting to know if this is all correct. Thanks in advance.

Hope you have a good trip to SD...I encourage to OC as much as possible. Many of the casinos in Deadwood are posted, and I'm pretty sure that you can't carry in federal buildings at Mt. Rushmore and within the national forests.

I think you can because Obama signed it into law that you can carry in national forestswith the credit card bill?

You can carry in national forests in concurrence with your state law...

You MAY NOT carry in a Federal Building under any circumstance....
