I know I have never been to one of these, but have asked for transportation , but it is not my point.

I know that one of the gentleman wears some type of badge to these events, and I also realize that this may have been spoken about before, but does this not defeat some of the purpose of the event?

I respect the gentleman wearing the badge, and of course I do not know the circumstances, but I will assume that "his" job requires him to do so.

A badge of any sort would deter from the "cause".

Of course this is my opinion and I do not, under any circumstances, want to degrade the gentleman, nor do I not thank him for his support on this issue, it just seems that if a person wearing a badge at these events,convolutes the issue.

I am interested in your comments.

Yea thats the "Angry Falconer". It is not my preference that he were his badge. I've almost got him wore down to him keepingit in his pocket. These are open social gatherings and as such my control to the image presented is very limited. I can tell you that Superlite was askedabout himself being a LEO and had the chance to explain our position and legalityon OC.

You have to remember these Starbuck's are only a percentage of my OC exposure. After leavingthere Big Mike, YuppieDog and myself spent 2 hours at the Florissant Steak n' Shake. Getting allot of attention but having no bad encounters.

There are only a few left that are legal to OC at in our area. I think they are all located in southSt Louis county. I will postare next Starbuck's destinationtomorrow.

...wouldn't almost all of them in St. Charles County be legal, with exception of Foristell? Wentzville and LSL being two of them. Or did you mean legal to OC without having to have your CCW?

Mofalloncarry-legal to OC with an CCW. Which is what you need to OC in most of the municipalities in St Charles. I have OC visited and have documented pics from the following Starbucks:

Ballwin, Clayton, Crestwood, Creve Coeur, Florissant, Hazelwood, Lake St Louis, Maryland Heights, Olivette, St Charles, Ofallon, St Peters, and Weldon Springs.

If I remember right, 141 & I-44 is Peerless Park. It just happens to be in the Valley Park zip code.

Peerless Park, Missouri is a former, disincorporated town located at the junction of Interstate 44 and Route 141 in St. Louis County. It was incorporated in 1935, and by the 1980s, the majority of the town was businesses and its population did not exceed 50. At the request of its citizens, the town was disincorporated in 1999.

It actually is now in unincorporated St Louis County making it under the counties reg that states outside of a recognized municipality if carrying a firearm you must have written permission to enter upon property ofwhich you do not have control over.

The "Target Wentzville T-2345" at 1883 Wentzville Pkwy that you have listed in orange and the "Wentzville & I-70" at 1877 Wentzville Pkwy that you have listed in black are one and the same.

If this is not the case, I assure you that I have failed to see two Starbucks built side-by-side as the street numbers are only 6 digits off.

What I believe has happened is that one address is for the Target shopping center complex,and one is for the Starbucks that is located in front of this complex.

As for the orange color denoting "some other issue", I cannot think of what it may be. This shop is "stand alone" and is not within any other building. I have frequented all establishments in this entire area andhave seen no sign postings on any of them.I have carried numerous times in this Starbucks with no problems or encounters.

The Target in LSL/Dardienne Prairie isn't posted, but I'm unaware of the OC laws there, either. But I'd bet Wentzville isn't posted, either.
