I have read a few books by Massad F. Ayoob and was wondering if anyone else have read any of his book and what book gave you the best info on high stress / closecombat?

Ayoob writes very good books and articles. In the Gravest Extreme is one of the classics that anyone who is a gun owner should have in their personal library.

As a resident of WA state, one of the best books I can recommend you get as a practical starting point is Washington Gun Rights and Responsibilities by Dave Workman. It should be available at most fine gun shops in this state.
