I like to combine 45 cal. rounds with triple 0 410 in my Taurus model 44.

Problem is: residue buildup from the 45s makes inserting longer 410 shells difficult.

Any thoughts?

Sorry, couldn't resist

Personally I have never noticed that much residue from firing a few rounds... or a few dozen for that matter.

Have you tried a different brand of ammo?
