Is it ok to Open Carry on a motorcycle? More specifically, is it legal?

Food for thought...Can you ride a motorcycle with a shotgun or rifle strapped to your back, or mounted to the back of your bike like those O.C. motorcycle police do so proudly? Just wondering, not trying that one yet.

    If it is unloaded, yes...

If it is a handgun you would have to be wary of the school zones.

If it is a long gun you should be able to transport it in such a manner with less worry about school zones since the penal code allows transport of unlocked unloaded long guns through a school zone.

    It's that time of year.
I am not anti Cop I am just pro Citizen.

    U.S. v. Minker, 350 US 179, at page 187
"Because of what appears to be a lawful command on the surface, many citizens, because
of their respect for what only appears to be a law, are cunningly coerced into waiving their
    rights, due to ignorance." (Paraphrased)

No, that's what the search function is all about.

After almost 3 years of researching, interpreting, and putting the info out there, I feel like the newbies should put in a minimal effort to get what they are looking for. I'm not asking them to start from scratch... just find the info that's already here.

I'd rather spend 1 minute composing a post telling people to do their own leg work than spend 5-10 minutes doing their search for them.
