We have a coined term for devices like weapon lasers. The more PC one would be "Megaforce."

    Lasers are silly.

I voted "other reason". They have a purpose. They're useful. They can be very good to have. Personally, though, I prefer not to use a laser sight for 2 reasons:

    A. I like to challenge myself when target shooting.
    B. Becoming dependent on a laser sight leaves you more vulnerable to error if it fails.

I was at a range yesterday and the shooter? on the next lane was using a laser. As it seemed to bewandering around on my target continiously, it makes me wonder if it was of much practical use to him.
