    I want to know if that includes a handgun that is partially disassembled and inoperable?



    To OC in a parade thru a GFSZ...

    I have a XD45, I have removed the barrel and recoil spring and then bound the slide in place with electrical tape with an empty mag inserted.

    Can I be prosecuted???????

    167.31(1)(c) "Firearm" means a weapon that acts by force of gunpowder.

    941.28 - ANNOT.
    Firearm" means a weapon that acts by force of gunpowder to fire a projectile, regardless of whether it is inoperable due to disassembly. State v. Rardon, 185 Wis. 2d 701, 518 N.W.2d 330 (Ct. App. 1994).
