Also, did you note that in the KOMO article they used a file picture of someone OCing from an article they ran earlier in the year?
Noticed that right away....that's bad rep for legal OCers....

And it's not like the public cares to know if he was legally carrying or not, any sign of a gun is totally the evilness.

Just saw this on my daily quick read of KOMO. I was wondering if I'd come to this site and find a thread topic saying something like, "Ummmm, guys....I made a booboo." Glad it hasn't gone that way...yet. Anyone from the Lynnwood area unaccounted for? Also, did you note that in the KOMO article they used a file picture of someone OCing from an article they ran earlier in the year?

Someone should contact a rep of OCDO and have them write a formal statement pointing out that it is not preferred or appreciated that a proper/lawful/safe representation of an Open Carrying citizen be used as a graphic representation for an instance where someone was not properly carrying or maintaining their gun in a safe way.

The collateral PR damage isn't something I find very acceptable. Not that I like to whine or upset the apple cart (I try not to whenever possible) but this leads to bad reputations for otherwise good people.

Literally a "nutless wonder"...
Bugger, probably not enough to remove him from the gene pool then, unless it was one of them JFK "magic" sideways-moving bullets :banghead:

While he wasn't removed from the pool, it sounds like his genes were unless he has already procreated...

That sucks, any weapon pointed at my twig and berries better be unloaded

if a stray round will go into myself by my own ignorance it will be in my leg, not my happy feet

Shouldn't there be a strap to keep the hammer from dropping. Never had a semi auto with a hammer.

Some balls are held for charity
And some for fancy dress
But when they're held for pleasure
They're the balls that I like best
My balls are always bouncing
To the left and to the right
It's my belief that my big balls
Should be held every night
