I agree that our right to carry shouldn't end when we cross onto campus, but that map hardly shows much to worry about being a victim. I see a lot of family disturbances, auto burglaries and home burglaries. Throw in a couple narcotics arrests and a few "other disturbances" (usually loud music or such) and I think you'd have a hard time making your case to an anti that this means you 'need' to be able to carry on campus. I'll be there on campus all this summer, we'll see what it's like when school's out and it's hot out!

Fair enough I created a new search for the last 60 days and excluded all incidents other than assaults, burglaries, larcenies, narcotics and homicides, as well as a charted report. I included narcotics because I think we can all agree that violent crime goes hand in hand with areas where narcotics are prevalent.

I think this sure as hell justifies my desire to be armed when having to come and go from school on foot in this area.
