Dear Democratic Party Leader:

Recently, at the state Republican convention, the GOP took an active approach towards supporting Article 1, Section 25 of the State Constitution and the 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution regarding concealed carry for Wisconsin. Given that Tom Barret, leading Democratic candidate for Wisconsin Governor, has voiced opposition to concealed carry, and opposition to constitutional rights in general pertaining to firearms, I am contacting you to request that you work with the Wisconsin Democratic Party leadership to add support for our constitutional rights and a true carry right to the Wisconsin Democratic Party platform.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist in this process.

Has Barrett voice support for conceal carry? I don't think he has. Last I heard both Milwaukee County DA Chisholm and Police Chief Flynn have said they support PERMIT conceal carry. The last quote from the mayor I heard was to his buddy Chief Flynn "I'm still not on board but keep trying"

Hadn't sent it yet, so the current posted version is what I am sending tomorrow morning (June 4, 2010) to the Democratic Party leadership for my county.
