New to the forum and have learned much in the two days that I've been poking my nose around. From my understanding that carrying in a vehicle falls under state statute and everyday OC is determined by local statute.

The question I have is if your city doesn't allow OC, is it still legal to OC on a motorcycle since it would fall under motor vehicle. I saw a motorcycle driving down the highway with a holster on the side, right under the seat. I had never seen it before and got my wheels spinning. Thanks for the assistance.

Inmost placesyes to OC on a Motorcycle and others no. You have to read the weapons codes. Look under the transport clauses. There are about 3 common variations of open transport of a firearm. You will have to reed theordinances to decipher. I do it on occasion.
