Open carried for the first time this weekend. A few looks but nothing negative. Carried in the smokey national park, maryville and sevierville area. What a great feeling to be an American! I live in SC where we have a "CONCEALED WEAPONS PERMIT." I did research beforehand to confirm it was legal to OC and discovered we had reciprocity with the great volunteer state. Yaw have a good thing up there. SC has a ways to go. Thanks to TENNESSEE for my first experience.

Just wait till you visit one of the FREE states (CO, AK, VT, AR, ID, etc.) where you don't need a license to OC. Now that feels like being in America.

Hopefully one day soon we here in TN will again be free to exercise our rights instead of being forced to purchase a state provided privilege that can just as easily be taken away as it is given.....

If not, I reserve the right to move to a FREE state.
