So my wife had to go to the courthouse to file some papers on my crazy neighbor. She walks in and approaches the scurity check point.

Her: Yes Sir, I have a weapon to check-in.

Offier: Excuse me?

Her: I am legally armed and I would like to check a weapon in.

Him: Oh, ok. Right over here.

As he grabbed a key for the box she realizes that its one of those $.25 boxes and says that she will be right back that she didnt have any change on her.

He tells her not to worry about it and pullsa quarter out of his pocket and opens the locker, lets her disarm herself then he locks the locker. And tells her to have a nice day.

She said he was as nice as could be and the fact that she was carrying didnt seem to bother him one bit. :celebrate

I dont know which one amuses me more, her actually carrying to the court or the little old man that was more than willing to help her. But none the less another Good courthouse encounter with a firearm. Mind you that my wife hasnt even owned a gun or her CPLuntil this past May when i was home onleave and we found her one that she felt comfortable with. She is enjoying it very much.

They kept my key, but I didn't mind. Security was very nice and had no interest in my gun. He even escorted and talked with me off the clock.
