Can't seem to find it anywhere but it's in New Haven...is it a state park or town park? Legal to carry?

    Here for Edgewood Park. http://www.cityofnewhaven.com/Parks/...park.asp#rules

    1. Park in designated lots only.
    2. The Sensory and Secondary Trails are for pedestrian use only. No mountain bikes or motorcycles are permitted on these trails.
    3. Dogs must be leashed at all times (unless in the fenced-in Dog Run). Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.
    4. All paved park roads are closed to motor vehicle traffic.
    5. Fires are not permitted in the park.
    6. Do not harm or collect plants or animals.
    7. Weapons and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
    8. Please help to keep Edgewood Park clean. Put all trash in the provided bins.

No such information or rules are posted for Lighthouse Point Park. However since New Haven has decreed weapons bans at "some" parks one has to wonder exactly what the policy is for those not specified.

Just to clarify, the name of the facility is "Lighthouse Park".

A question in my mind is whether posting "No weapons" on a web site is adequate notification. I'd be curious to see if it said anything like that at the entrance of the park.

    Then have at it.

I went to SCSU and fished often at LHP. Many times we striper fished (illegally) into the night. Having my old Seecamp or S&W 6906 on me was very comforting. All kinds of crazy crap happens there at night.
