NRA flap proves Dems will do anything to keep power
Overlooked in all of this is the fact that this exemption would not have been offered by Democrats if the party was not in serious political trouble. Many Democrats are looking ahead to November and all they see is a repeat of the disastrous 1994 elections in which they lost Congress.
