I get emails from Mike Rogers office and this one came this evening. Nothing about OC, but does show his position on guns. I am going to write him an email asking him to push for anational OC bill.

[size=Fortunately, those attempts met some new realities recently.][/size]
[size=According to a recent government report, new FBI crime statistics show over the past two years as gun sales and ownership have increased, violent crimes have actually fallen by over 8 percent.][/size]
[size=This shows what most folks across East Alabama already know – that guns don’t cause crimes.][/size]
[size=As a proud gun owner and lifetime NRA member, I support a number of important pieces of legislation, including the National Right-to-Carry bill, H.R. 197, which would establish national standards for concealed carry reciprocity.][/size]
[size=I also support the Citizens' Self-Defense Act as a cosponsor of H.R. 17.][/size]
[size=All of these bills defend our basic Second Amendment right: our right to use firearms for self-defense and for defending ourselves and our families against violence.][/size]
[size=The Democratic-controlled Congress needs to leave our Second Amendment rights alone, and start focusing on our economy.][/size]
