Journalist looking to meet & interview 'open carry' gun owners in Colorado

Hi, my name is Ed Nelson, I work for the Sunday Times Magazine, the UK's largest circulation weekly general-interest feature magazine (part of the Times Newspaper).

I am currently traveling in Colorado (then New Mexico, Arizona and Texas) and would like to meet, interview and photograph gun owners who 'open-carry'.

I am traveling from Wheat Ridge in Colorado, down along the route of the Rio Grande river, down to the Mexico border, so if you live in Colorado, near that route, and are able to meet up, that would be great.

I'd like to photograph you in an everyday public setting.

Without context, as I saw it on the New Forum Posts sidebar, this looks really weird! An aphorism from the USS UstaFish SSN-669, "Friends are friends and pals are pals, but buddies sleep together."

Hi Zack - if you can give me a call on 310 498 6237 today, we are driving down thru Colorado towards New Mexico (from Denver, where we are now).
Perhaps you are on our route?

Oops! Looks like Ed slipped right through Colorado Springs without a stop.

Ed, we could have hooked you up with at least a dozen of us if you'd given us a day's heads' up to organize an OC breakfast! (Easy as, "Hey, let's get together at X at 8:00 am for breakfast and to meet with a reporter from...")

Ah, that is frustrating, you're right, I drove from Wheat Ridge, Colorado to Socorro, New Mexico yesterday...18 hours with stops and detours. My AT&T cellphone has such poor roaming service I didn't see this message until it was late, and I was well into New Mexico. An open-carry breakfast would have been excellent!

I am now in New Mexico for today and tomorrow, then Arizona. If you know any OC members in these territories, please let me know...
