Few questions with new forum

Hello all thanks to the Facebook group I learned the new forum is up and running. I'm sorry if theses questions have already been asked but I did not see a thread similar to this already up.

* The old link I book marked says admin log in only so dose that mean I should delete that link and save this one?
* Why do some threads appear blue and others red?

I'm sure there are more but that's all for now. I feel like there was nothing wrong with the old site and although I will support the site on the decisions they make tonight I am finding this site confusing and a little overwhelming
