OC Event: July 4th (short notice) Lapeer Fireworks

when? July 4th, meet around 8:30 pm

what? Fireworks

who? only cpl holders (if no cpl, you can still come and hang out, just don't bring your piece)

where? Parking lot of Lapeer West High School. 170 Millville Road, Lapeer MI 48446 (fireworks are launched from the ball field)

I just came up with this idea today.

Who is interested in coming? We can do some tailgaiting...set up a grill and cook stuff in the parking lot, maybe cook some marshmallows or pop corn. (pop-corn is good fireworks food) We can also bring blankets and sit on the grass, or can stay in the parking lot with our vehicles.

Anyone interested in joining us?

Most likely the short notice is what is the problem since folks usually have their plans all set up long before the 4th....

Yooperlady and I are having our yearly backyard OC gathering of neighbors and close friends on that day. And since we are both old farts that will be more than enough to poop us out and require an early bedtime for us!:D
