Yeah I've got one two, believe it or not I bought it for my Glock 27, you know the sub-compact tiny .40. And that is the one that CTD said I needed and it is too big for my full sized .45 G21 or my 4" .357mag Security six, and these are my biggest pistols/revolvers. So I don't know what the heck its actually for, I'm pretty sure it would be too big for the 5" .45 XDM I'm looking at too! Ahh.

I must ask... do you actually have an all stainless 1911? slide, frame, grips? That would be cool!

Sh|t, I could fit a hand cannon in this 'thigh rig' !

    Nope. Black on black.

The stainless1911 is a goal/dream of mine. Specifically a Kimber custom Eclipse II.

The XD is a great carry gun.

If we are ever at a range together I'll let you shoot the Dan Wesson CBOB and you'll soon have a new goal

Trying to figure why or what caused you to build this instead of buying a tactical drop down holster?

Ive made some minor adjustments since then, but security was never an issue. Ive got better control of the gun in a leg holster than at the hip anyhow.

    Are you trolling?

What do kids have to do with it? Are you referring to its altitude?

Pretty much referring to the fact then anyone including a kid might be able to make the weapon fire from the position in the photo. I was wondering if you had kids in question of that fact. It would really suck to get shot in the leg by my own kid with my own gun.. From the photo presented as I stated it looks unsecure , unstable and as you mention the altitude.

from the pic I get what youre saying. Actually, Its position results in it being covered by my hand. Its in a blackhawk retention holster, which covers the trigger, and holds the gun very securely. Im not worried about a child, or adult getting this from me, if I did, I certainly wouldnt carry it that way. As for my kid, she's 7, and she has been carefully instructed in firearms. She is familiar with this weapon, has shot a handgun already, has her own rifle, and knows the basic safety knowledge that would be expected of anyone before handling weapons.
