You think wearing this shirt will get me excused from jury duty?
I think Jury duty is an opportunity, unless you truly are busy you should do it because it is an opportunity to maybe "nullify" some bad laws that violate someones un-alienable rights, maybe some bad gun laws!!! Remember that a judge is NOT going to imform the juror that it is not just the facts of the case under scrutiny but also the law itself! See Fully Informed Jury Association (FIJA) http://www.FIJA.orgYou think wearing this shirt will get me excused from jury duty?
Something along the lines of "I believe in jury nullification" should suffice.
It's your and the defendants right, but judges don't like to hear that you have a brain and can choose to disregard their instructions even if it's the right thing to do.
It is not only his right but also his duty... to find the verdict according to his own best understanding, judgment, and conscience, though in direct opposition to the direction of the court.

Jury nullification occurs when a jury returns a verdict of "Not Guilty" despite its belief that the defendant is guilty of the violation charged. The jury in effect nullifies a law that it believes is either immoral or wrongly applied to the defendant whose fate that are charged with deciding.
Wow, what jury on earth would acquit these two pieces of ****? granted the person arrested was a piece of **** as well, but that is no excuse for the conduct of these two officers. What country do they think we're in, Mexico?
At least the NLV chief fired them. I'm worried that Sheriff DG would have promoted them. There are two sad points to this story. One is that cops have become nothing more than criminals with badges. Two is that the public has been so dumbed down with the garbage they're fed on a daily basis by TV, movies and video games, along with the lack of a proper education, that you end up with a jury of idiots who think this is the way cops should act.

Who are the criminals? Looked to be the 2 guys with badges.Yeah you guys are right about it being my duty. My SIL was in the pool for the 2 NLV cops that abused there power inside the Cannery hold room. They found the jurors they wanted before they got to her. I can't believe they found the cops not guilty.
Here's the story.

A Clark County jury has acquitted two former police officers accused of falsifying a report and allegedly beating a casino patron.
Former North Las Vegas police officers James Balelo and Mark Miles were found not guilty on Friday. Miles and Balelo were both charged with false report by a public officer. Miles was also charged with oppression under the color of office.
Investigators say Miles beat a 31-year-old California man while he was in handcuffs at the Cannery Casino. The man had been detained by casino security after allegedly causing a disturbance and waving a bottle around a casino bar. The incident happened in late 2008.
Police say the victim didn't file a complaint, but a North Las Vegas Police Department patrol supervisor found inconsistencies in reports that Miles and Balelo submitted.
The men were fired from the NLVPD after an internal investigation.

DON'T WEAR THE SHIRT TO COURT! I understand you want to get out of jury duty, but when you wear the shirt due to the court environment OTHER PEOPLE will now have the impression guns = non reputable people. Is that the message you want to send out? On the street it is a different place where judgement isn't so predominant and may trigger someone to think. Maybe see if the Stratosphere sells shirts for their new bungee jump and wear one to get a similar effect.
The N. LV cops from the video, no good, glad they got fired.
if you want to get out of jury duty; during the interview process, mention your an open carrier, and strongly support the 2nd amendment. i bet you'll be shown the door right away.
