I want a good .22 pistol for plinking and I really like the 1911 style. I think it would be awesome to have a 1911 .22. I've mainly been looking at the Chiappa 1911 and the GSG 1911. Those are both under $300. Anyone know any common problems with either? I don't know much about em, so any input would be great. And if there are other good 1911 .22's that I don't know about please mention them

i know about the kimber models. dont want to spend that much on a .22 pistol. The GSG and the Chiappa are both under 300. and I dont want any conversion kits. just a designated .22 1911 pistol. thanks for the input on the GSG. I think that is the one I am leaning more towards right now. It is made out of all steel. The chiappa is pot metal.
