It's about time someone held New Orleans' corrupt feet to the fire. Too bad it took a city-wide disaster and a subsequent cover-up to expose a piece of the good-old-boy cesspool epitomized by Sheriff J.W. Pepper in Live and Let Die. Yes, their reputation was well known back in the early 70s.

What a load of BS.

“The federal government has clearly forgotten or chosen to ignore the circumstances police officers were working under and clearly chose not to factor in any of those circumstances when they decided to charge them with an intentional act of murder,” Mr. Hessler said in an interview. "

What "conditions" warrant the shooting of unarmed citizens walking to the store? Only a lawyer could make such an ignorant statement.

Good luck with ronald serpas as the police superintendant. He was the Nashville police chief until recently. IMO, he is corrupt garbage like many in his former department.

It's his ******* job dude. He must Zealously defend his clients. It has nothing to do with how he feels/thinks.
