    New Guy here.

Hello All new to the site. Just got my first pistol I would actually care to claim if you know what I mean. Only OCed once to a gas station kinda getting used to drawing from holster before i run into town with it. No I'm not a CC I'm only 19 but have handled more guns then most.. Here's my new piece

I Like this one it's kinda like there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

Welcome I OC. It get's easier as one goes along, though at your age you'll probably get more fish eyes than I would.
Nice piece and great holster to go with it.

Next time someone asks why you carry a gun, ask them if they watch the news. Better yet ask them if carrying a gun is heavier than regret.

Check out LOCAL and try to make a meet-up. Lots of good support there.

Welcome, nothingwronghere. Good luck in your dealings with family - I know it can be difficult to defend (verbally) your decision to defend yourself and your loved ones without treading on toes.

I like that "heavier than regret" line. I'll have to remember it.

hey nothingwronghere, i'm 19 and open carry too although i live in marrero on the west bank. i can attest to the fact that our age we get lots more stares than most and i have the same problem with my friends instead of my family seeing as my brother carrys as well. just hold your ground and remember to try and be a model citizen when you;re carrying. use your manners and smile alot, i've found it really helps. btw, the serpa is an excellent holster, i use it to carry my USP .45
