Start 'em young right?

We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. My son Alex has been shooting with me from when he was 9. (thats when I felt he was ready)
I want him to grow up with knowledge and respect for firearms. And an appreciation of our 2nd amendment rights. (along with all all constitutional rights)
I hope to teach him Right from Wrong.(we see a lot of wrong going on)

Interesting observation. My daughters are newer at shooting, however they do know gun safety well and how to handle revolvers and semi's.

I keep telling my wife that I'll my son will be shooting when he's 3 (maturity and respect for firearms permitting), but that'll probably start with a pellet gun. He's not even 10 months yet, I think I've got some time to decide.

My two oldest have been shooting for quite some time.
I take my step daughter to the range with a .22LR pistol.
My son got a special day at the range last Halloween for his birthday... he turned 9. We went to Champion in Kent and rented the AR chambered for 9mm and he put 200 rds through a couple of Osama Zombie targets. He said it was the best time he'd ever had.
I have pics and vid, but not here at work... they all got uploaded to my Facebook account.

Haha, thanks that's a huge compliment. I loved that movie. Well she does like swords and knives. I just want her to be able to handle herself. I think too many girls today are raised to think that being a victim is somehow noble. It's strange how feminism empowered women and brought them down at the same time.
Here are 2 of my 3 daughters..I first brought them to the range when they were little girls..The Oldest Carrie has a Bersa .380 .The middle daughter Laurie lives in the Soviet Socialist Republic of Kalifornia so she hasn't tried to get anything yet.Thats why when Her and my son in law came to visit the biggest thing they wanted to do was go to the range.Both the girls becoming quite proficient with firearms...My youngest is 17 and lives with her mom ion Palm Springs so I don't know about her yet....
