Is my FL CCW given full faith and credit in GA?

Hi,

I just recently moved to GA from FL. Of course, I have a CWP from FL. I know it is reciprocally recognized by GA. However, I am not sure if it is honored for open carry.

I am a huge fanatic of OC. Just wanted to see if I'm covered with my FL CWP, or if I need to get a GFL.

Also, could anyone point me in the direction of the OC statutes for GA?

Thanks a ton!

FL permit is honored in GA.

There is no difference in GA regarding OC and CC. They are treated exactly the same (by law anyway.)

noticed it said he just moved to GA...his flordia permit is still good(if florida says so) but he cannot carry on it in GA because he is now a resident

I see...I had it the other way around in my head.

Rm is correct. As soon as you are a resident of GA you need a GA permit issues by your county probate court.

What county are you in?
