    What caliber are you Carrying?

Not a debate, just wondering what Caliber you are trusting your life to, on a daily basis?
    For me it is ---
    45
    9
    38sp+p
Carry depends on my situation and mood.

OC - 9x18 or .38 Special +P, depending on mood. For concealed carry, 9x18

9mm for me, everyday, everywhere. Also have a backup .380 that fits in a shirt pocket.

I don't trust my life to my weapon, I trust it to what is referred to often as situational awareness. My firearm is my backup.

Good ol' .45 ACP, where even basic hardball is still effective. Personally I find it nicer to shoot than 9mm. Carry that when I'm just running up the street for something quick tho.

I don't mind watching the OC-Community (tea party 2.0's, who have hijacked the OC-Community) cannibalize itself. I do mind watching OC dragged through the gutter. OC is an exercise of A Right. I choose to not OC; I choose to not own firearms. I choose to leave the OC-Community to it's own self-inflicted injuries, and eventual implosion. Carry on...

all my guns were lost in a tragic boat sinking right in front of my house 3 years ago!!
ive even got pictures to prove it....
didnt know you were a boater!
my boat sank because i allowed more water to get INSIDE the boat than was OUTSIDE the boat.
some kind of scientific thingy that has to do with displacement or something?

    Glock 36 in .45 ACP.

.45, because they don't make a .46. (well, now they do but it would be a beast and a half to carry around all the time)

If I didn't lose my guns...

I'd CC my PF9 9x19 hydroshock and OC my XD40 with hydroshocks.
I would also have about 5 exra 40cal mags hidden around the places I frequent and a spare 9mm mag in the pocket. That should be enough to get me and mine safe.

You know I've never had anyone, who has kidded me about that gun, ever volunteer to get shot by it.

Sig Sauer P226R happily fed with 36 rounds of Federal HST 9mm in 2 x 18 magazines.
Figured if I can't get myself out of a sticky situation with 36 rounds, then perhaps I should have gotten out of it long ago
