Haha, no way, you went there too?
That place is only a couple miles from the strip, frankly with the 'rep' in Vegas I'm surprised.
Caught them on a sugar high?

I have been to quite a few places in Vegas because I happen to know some people there, and yes it is away from the strip. No, I did not catch them on a sugar high. They hadn't ordered by the time I walked in.

The Officers I ran into on the Strip were just as cool, I just only had time to snap the back of their car, hoping that it would come out well.

It's a joke...

This did not happen. The folks over at Calguns swear up and down that OCers on the strip will be shot, stabbed, maced, beaten, tased, arrested, and shot again by LVMPD. Since you are here to post about it and not in a body bag at the Coroner's office, then you must be lying. Nice fake pictures, though.

Nevada has made some great strides. I'm a fairly new OC'er, but from reading the forums I see that we have come a long way. A year or two some guy got detained for wearing an EMPTY holster in a casino. One of the active members was also disarmed and detained on Las Vegas Blvd, and provided as the catalyst to have all of LVMPD being re-trained on Open Carry. Since we have not had very many issues from police.

Now the Erik Scott thing, that's a whole different story. We are going to keep the pressure on.

Well done, Ops. Dang, it must feel good to LOC in a (semi) free state, no?
Yes, it does. I went to Great America here in Santa Clara and ran into a CHP Sergeant in the back of the parking lot. We had a short conversation about the weapon (which I did not take into the park) and this is the outcome.

At this point, my weapon is in my vehicle on the dashboard, so the Sergeant may see it. That is why it is not on my side.

Nice work Ops. I thought you never had negative encounters though, and here you are getting your feathers ruffled in Santa Clara. Good to see LV Metro cheerful about a citizen exercising his rights.

I didn't mean to say that I got my feathers ruffled by the CHP. The real issue was shether or not I could OC in the park. They've got the wands and what not, so I figured okay. When I found this Sergeant, I'd already placed the weapon on the dash so that when I approached him, I wouldn't alarm the plain clothes Officer that was with him. He saw it, but did not seem to have an issue with it.
