What is the statute that prevents carrying in an alcohol serving establishment?

I know the law exists but I can't find it. 4-229 just says "A person with a permit issued pursuant to section 13-3112 may carry a concealed handgun" .... Emphasis mine. Where is the law that says a non-permit holder may NOT carry in those locations concealed or open?

Long time lurker here but finally had a question I couldn't find the answer to.

Is the law only if the place has signs?
Other way around. Law applies only if establishment does NOT have sign prohibiting guns.

If no sign, then if you have a CCW permit, and do not consume alcohol, you may carry concealed (only).

Sign does NOT have to be at entrance. Must be near liquor license. Until 7/29 liquor license could be in some non-public back room somewhere with "no firearms" sign next to it. Law changed on 7/29. See AzCDL August newsletter for details.
