Where have you been legally kicked out of for OC'ing?

I was thinking perhaps we should spread the word to do a 'OCOTT' and not take our business to them. I understand it's there right as a private establishment but then again it's our right to refuse them our money.

There is a "do not patronize" list, but it seems to have become misplaced since the forum change...

Wal-Mart in north Spokane but they called to apologize.

River park square mall in downtown Spokane.

Sharp Shooting indoor range should not be supported. I wasnít OCing and I didnít get kicked out but I brought up Opencarry.org and they told me anyone involved with this sight were idiots and were going to get gun rights taken away. I emailed the owner to complain about how I had been ridiculed in front of other customers and she backed up her employees comments.

If I am in Spokane I will make sure not to go to Sharp Shooting. They are the idiots.

That's good to know, now I don't feel guilty about being undercharged.

I had already spent so much money there it make me sick to this day! If I could only keep one rifle and one sidearm out of what I have it would be the two guns I got there which happen to be the most expensive in my collection. My Smith and Wesson 1911 for about a grand and my Smith and Wesson M&P15 $1150 and another $500 in parts for it I also got from there.

This was my email to the owner...

    >I was in the evening of Friday 8/14/09. I was browsing for my next firearm
    >purchase. In conversing with your employees I mentioned that I had
    >recently been in some legal trouble with carrying in a park. I also

    This was her reply...

I knew of the situation before you emailed. Yes, you should not have been
treated that way. I do have some sympathy for the employee though. We get in
the crossfire with folks who wish to push the envelop on rules and legislatures
asking for my help in changing the rules so that there is no gray area. While I
agree you should not ever need a permit to exercise your rights, carry your gun
open, etc. The reality is not what I "want" but what is perceived to be the
law. I fight daily to keep our rights and myself and staff get pushed from all
    directions.

Personally, I am always going to go out of my way to avoid "bad" contact with
law enforcement. I don't have the time or the money to fight. I prefer to take
    my fight through legislative channels.

I appreciate you past business and wish you well with your future.

    I guess times have changed.
Did you happen to see any signs that read "The customer is never right"?

I haven't been kicked out of anywhere, but that's because I'll put my shirt over my piece if I enter a place that doesn't allow me to protect myself (except fed buildings, 21+, etc.).

Ditto. We let our membership lapse this year because I was asked not to carry in the Gig Harbor location. Even though I have been carrying there for over a year. Bunch of numb nutz.

The Brothers motorsports in Bremerton. I was just about to buy a service package for around 80 bucks when the manager came up and asked me why I was carrying like "that" in his store. I told him I carry like this everywhere and he then asked me to leave. I put my wallet back in my pocket and walked out.

Was at the Sheriff's station the other day with a gentleman from this site. He had his gun OC, I was recording. We both got kicked out. Later the Sheriff emailed me back with apologizing.

Also Trader Joe's, which I received a phone call from the gentleman asking me never to bring my gun back in apologizing that he said that.

Now, off to lackamas lake to OC... we will see if I get a visit from our local LEO seeing as how the Clark County Code isn't up to date, yet.

    Joe~

Unless they have metal detectors (they do not), the property manager may frown upon CC of a weapon. However, the crips/bloods that shop there do not obey the mall code of conduct.

This is one instance whereas you have a legitimate business need to conduct at the mall then I highly suggest that CC is appropriate and required.
