We have won the battle!

The City Of Royal Oak will remove the No Firearms provision from the Arts, Beats, Eats Festival Contract on this coming Monday. This will be the 2nd Amendment to the Contract, which is just dripping with Irony.

I have never been prouder to be an American, with my fellow Americans who treasure Liberty and Freedom, standing together to tell the City Of Royal Oak - NO YOU DON'T!!!

Another victory for gun rights. The media coverage has been extensive by all Detroit TV and newspapers.

Monday Aug. 16, the media will be reporting this great victory, tune into Detroit and enjoy.

Proud to be an OCDO member!

I have been at many of these meetings. I am proud of how professionally our side of the issue has been presented and how all of our members stood together in the face of many illogical, emotional and often irrational attacks on our character and motives.

I have never been prouder to call myself a member of any organization, as I am today to call my self a member of OCDO. Thanks to all my fine brothers and sisters, you are the true patriots our country so desperately needs today.

I leave you with a quote from the "father of our constitution". It reminds me of what we are fighting against daily, and why we must succeed.

A government that does not trust it's law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms is itself unworthy of trust. -- James Madison
