I hate when newspapers print false information or opinions disguised as facts.

IMHO, no one should ever remove their firearm from it's holster on demand by a police officer. They should demand that the police officer remove it from the holster. This could have been what got Erik Scott murdered. One officer could have been telling him to get on the ground when another officer tells him to "Drop the gun!" Erik then decided he better disarm and a jumpy police officer gets nervous because he's in the heat of the moment doesn't realize that he's been ordered by another officer to do something else and fires. One officer opens fire and the rest open fire.

What about this one from that article:

"Assemblyman John Hambrick, R-Las Vegas, is a retired law enforcement officer who says permit holders must be sure to keep their weapons concealed in public."

Sneaky newspaper bias trick, as you pointed out - opinion disguised as fact. The newspaper printed no false information at all - those people said things, and the paper reported truthfully exactly what they said

IMHO, they should decline the invitation to surrender their property and demand to be served the warrant describing the particular property to be seized.
