Just realized I've had a weekend backpacking trip in George Washington National Forest planned for this weekend for the last month. Also just realized that I'll have to CC.

Are you going to Catherine's Furnace by chance? My buddies and I go camping out there every year around Columbus Day. It's great!

So far I have between 15 and 20 folks planning on attending!!! Great! I am really looking forward to meeting some of you face to face!

I will try to get there about 20 minutes early to arrange for seating!

The thread for the breakfast this morning is still sticked, but the one for the dinner tonight got un-stickied.

My guess is someone un-stickied the wrong one of the two.

...wish I could go to the dinner.

Had a good time talking to everyone. Got the Golden Coral heartburn but I don't regret eating two pieces of cherry pie. :)

Jay & family get the courage-award for bringing the whole family to a buffet. :) Too bad our tables were separated. It was hard to hear especially across tables.

Thanks again for taking the time to come out last night. I super enjoyed meeting each one of you. I do echo the thoughts of 45acpfome...it was too bad Jay and his family were seperated from us. I hhope to get to know you all even better in the days ahead!

Sorry I missed everyone. I got into working on the house and it was 8 o'clock before I put my paintbrush down. I totally spaced.

Perhaps next time. And I was really looking forward to the buffet, too!:cry:
