The guys a tool but cheese and rice. I think we are going to see a lot more of the because of the public record deal.

Did he say he was going to be carrying or because of PR are they just putting 2 and 2 together? And just because he has a CCW do they think he's going to carry.

I would love to see him open carry. He could probably pull off some big gaudy belt buckle with a J-frame or a SP 101.

Wait, this sounds like job descrimination based on the fact that he is a permit holder. We were assured that there was no harm that could come from publicizing this information. Sounds like Chris could be harmed by this ruling, maybe he should sue.

"The state of Nevada has no restriction on carrying firearms in casinos, but casinos, under state law, can have "no weapons" policies to prevent people from coming in armed."

what law is that?

what the heck?! did any of you read this? I'm surprised to be the first to react to that.

"guests are prohibited from carrying weapons in public areas -- or having weapons in their rooms."

This deserves some attention, or it could get annoying.

The cris angel part - is dumb and boring and about a "celebrity" when it should be about what matters to everyone. I don't want to hijack this topic, so if necessary we can discuss both seperately.

This sounds like a GREAT idea!

He is also being held to public ridicule and being identified as a potential risk to safety, which may affect him in in other aspects of his career, so the damages could be astronomical.

kinda makes it pointless for him to carry concealed now that everyone knows he does isn't it? Gee, CCW info to the public available wont harm us? So much for that "tactical" advantage i hear being thrown about like were all operators. "Concealed means concealed" except if your Chris Angel we know hes carrying.

Just to clarify: There is no Nevada law that specifically allows a casino or any other private property owner to ban guns. However, private property owners have the right restrict access to their private property however they wish, except as provided in the civil rights act. So any private property owner can have a "no guns" policy, and if they find you on their property with a gun they can ask you to leave. If you leave, that's the end of the matter, no law has been violated. If you refuse to leave, then you're committing a criminal trespass. The "no guns" signs used by private property owners have no legal effect.

I gave myself an aneurysm trying to give a crap about any of this.

(A comment on the incident, not the person posting it.)

Why do we even have pageants? Who the hell watches pageants?
