From what year? I'd like to do an inflation comparison to see how much the modern price is.

I'm normally not one to point out typos, but...

...this one was too funny to pass up

I've often wished that some one would start running an add on a major network, or go all out and run one during something like the super-bowel. Be it a manufacturer or even a Pro-2a group. Heck even the NRA. Just something that millions would see.
I'm imagining a giant on a massive toilet, straining.

Considering the average cost of a US made car in 1938 was over $760 that Benjamin may not sound like much... but back then it was quite a chunk of change!

Actually the actual COST of these firearms (with the exception of the Class III units) hasn't gone up much.

If you figure in inflation and the devaluation of the dollar (about 92% since 1941 when we signed onto the Bretton Woods standard), these prices are actually a little HIGHER than today's market prices for similar firearms.
It is our cause to dispel the foggy thinking which avoids hard decisions in the delusion that a world of conflict will somehow mysteriously resolve itself into a world of harmony, if we just don't rock the boat or irritate the forces of aggression—and this is hogwash."
