Seems a server at Jackson's Bar thinks it is a workplace hazard for Permit Holders to carry into the restaurant. (NOTE: I did not say "bar" as the reason is, under state law, it is illegal to operate a "bar" all establishments are restaurants. Some just get fined for selling more than 50% of their business as alcohol...)
Claims it is an unsafe environment to have guns in and he feels threatened. Got himself a lawyer and now going through the TOSHA (State level OSHA) to get the law overturned...
(Side note: This is the first time I have seen Channel 4 news relate this as a Guns in Restaurants issue rather than the sensationalized "Guns in Bars" stuff the press here pushed while the law was being passed...)
FYI: Carry Permits in the State of Tennessee allow for both Concealed and Open Carry. This is an Open Carry issue...
