Nice video -- but
It's a nice video, it speaks of the constitution, American flags, second amendment, the right to bear arms. That's all well and good. I'm sure all of us here know the second amendment.
How many of us know the seventeenth amendment?
How many of us know and are willing to defend amendments 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 the same way were are willing to defend the 2nd? How many of us say we love freedom but we're willing to let the Federal Government force tax money out of people for the purpose of a gun education program? How many of us believe a person has the right to do ANY drug as long as they stay home where they won't harm anyone else and the hospitals can have the right to refuse them treatment for their drug related problems (because after all, the drug user made a choice -- they need to live or die with the consequences)?
How many of us believe people have the fundamental right to do as they please as long as they do no harm to another? Even if that thing makes your blood boil -- like being openly homosexual.
How many of us truly believe in freedom and how many of us only give it lip service and defend it only so long as we can keep our guns?
This post isn't meant to be a flame. It's meant to make people stop, give pause, and ask themselves -- how much do I really believe in freedom?
Respectfully....
