The difference between good guys and bad guys

"...Contrast that with the scenario played out on Aug. 15 down in SeaTac, where dozens of open carry activists gathered at an apartment complex for an annual barbecue. There were lots of people, both male and female, legally packing firearms, having a good time, and nobody suffered so much as a scratch. These are the good guys."

Good write up...

Shows a stark contrast between a group of law abiding, armed citizens at a picnic (Willow Lake) vs. a group of drunken a-holes with guns at a picnic (Lk Samamish)

That's a pretty broad brush you're painting with... I didn't see any mention of the Lake Sammamish incident in Mr. Workman's cited piece (OR the Willow Lake Picnic, for that matter); and a Google search revealed little to be found on the results of the police investigation of Lake Sammamish after 20 JUL. Whatcha' got?
...Keovongphet, 33, of Kent, and Justin Cunningham, 30, of South Seattle, were killed Saturday night when an altercation between two groups erupted into gunfire at Lake Sammamish State Park. The King County Sheriff's Office says members of both groups have gang affiliations and is investigating whether that played a role in the shootings.

Relatives of both slain men say they were not gang members.

...Cunningham had no prior felony convictions, prosecutors said.

*I'd be inclined to believe the prosecutor's office in this instance. ;)

Hey Tony

Sorry to set off your argue alarm...

My comment was drawing a parallel between the points he made and similar events that took place where the attendees were armed.

You disagree that at one event a group of citizens gathered, armed, and enjoyed each others company in a safe and respectful manner while at the other a group of armed, drunken hooligans opened fire and endangered public safety?

My post was ambiguous at best but not intended to garner your ire.
