Gun Owners Win Victory Against EPA Bullet Ban
American gun owners have proven again that grass roots activism works. This time they roared and the Environmental Protection Agency ran for cover. Grass roots organizations across the fruited plain mobilized when EPA administrator Lisa Jackson planned to hear a petition from anti-hunting group Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) to ban lead ammunition and lead sinkers used for fishing under the ruse of environmental protection. The spotlight of truth shown from all corners of the nation pointing out that the EPA was expressly forbidden by Congress from considering ammunition under the same statute used to ban things like lead paint. EPA soon ran for cover announcing that they would after all be denying the petition. Give yourselves a hand.
NRA BREAKS WITH TRADITION OF ENDORSING HARRY REID
Under the category of "NRA Finally Listens to Gun Owners," the NRA has decided to not endorse anti-gun Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid this time. This is also a great victory for gun owners as it will not give Reid his traditional camouflage that he normally uses to get votes from the less schooled among the ranks. Let your NRA rep know that they got something right this time.
