Ok, so...

We've all but hijacked another users thread in the California section, SO, I wanted to defer to here.

Let's see if people will take the time out to fill this in. I am going to create a form for the riders here to fill out, to give us a bit of riding history. Here it goes:

Years Riding: 25+
Location: Tacoma, WA
Current Bike: none (Working on a deal for a highly modified GS1100E, sold my last bike, 2003 GSXR1000, to relocate.)
Favorite Bike You Have Ridden/Owned: 1999 Suzuki TL1000S
Number Of Bikes You Have Owned: 25+
Favorite Road To Ride: Auburn Ravine Road between Cool and Foresthill

Notes:

Hopefully you guys see what I am doing here. I love bikes, and am also a huge drag/street car guy specializing in Fox Chassis Fords. I am curious to know how many of us enjoy freedom of the two-wheeled variety.

Ready,...Set......GO

lol great responses, except please note I did say "Motorized".

If you think a CB100 will go up a tree, throw a CT90 in low and hold the throttle to the stop. Either that or a down-geared big bore dirtbike like a XR600.

total,,,2

had a kaw k1 500cc while i was in the navy,,got it in 73, sold it in 75.
bought a 72 moto guzzi 850 eldorado, in boxes, in 1980.
done a couple rebores over the years, now 992cc.
full dress, rusty, greasy, and ugly, but it starts every time, and keeps up with anything.
loud pipes save lives, nobody wonders if im coming down the street,
and the sound is, low and pure, i dare say it sounds better than any harley!

rode to hurricane ridge 3 weeks ago,,parked in the lot with lots of shiny pretty bikes.
folks would walk by the nice ones, pointing and smiling,
but they would stop at my goose, and gather round, talking old world craftsmanship
reliability, and timeless design. im getting carried away.

NIce glide shovel. I'd really like to see the 76 though if at all possible.

Here is a short list of some of my bikes I have had over the years. I will work my way backwards:

2003 GSXR1000
1999 TL1000S
1996 CBR600F3
1990 CBR600F
1989 CBR600F
1987 CBR600F "Hurricane" (The Hurricane name applies only to the 87 and 88 model years. It was dropped in 89-90 even though it's the same bike)
1982 CB650C
1982 GS1100E (Gold)
1985 XL600R
1982 XR200R
1979 YZ100
1985 ATC70
1988 ZX6R
1982 GS450L
1970 SL100
1979 DT100
1967 Yamaha RD1 (2 stroke 360cc)
....and many more.

Defender...

Pictures of the ElDorado?

Ever get tired of it lifting and squating in turns?

That's a true classic. ;)

Yeah I missed that. The first bike looks like an Evo from a distance though. Got any close ups?

Edit: Scratch that - Zoomed in and its obviously a shovel.

That thing move ok in full dress like that?

Also, does that trike conversion change it from belt to chain or ?

Seen plenty of wings in trike, but not so many HD's. Always been curious about that.

24 years.
Always rode Hondas as my street and dirt bike bikes.
I have had 6 street and 7 dirt..
My favorite has been the Honda NightHawk. I currently ride the an '86 NightHawk 700 special. It looks brand new and is a great bike.

As I get older though I do have this desire to get a Harley or a Goldwing for some odd reason.

And I always open carry while riding.

The TriGlide is a factory built Harley trike, not a conversion. The good part is that it is repairable by any Harley dealer and not just specialty shops.

In younger days I was a CNC Programmer and made parts for drag bikes. Made some parts for Larry McBride, fastest motorcyclist in the world. He has owned the world record for top fuel motorcycle for years. Also made parts for top fuel 1/8 mile dirt draggers.
