I'm going to a wedding in Cannon Beach in Sept. Anybody have any comments about reaction I might recieve in that area. I'm coming from Washington.

We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. I OC'd in allmost every shop in Cannon Beach today. In the candy/taffy shop I had one older gentalman ask why I had a pistol, at first I thought it was going to be my first negative encounter. I then gave my smoke alarm analogy and noticed his "NRA" logoed watch. Even though he his pro 2A he was not aware that OR is an OC state. So I gave him an OR OC pamphlet and had a nice chat. This was the first time having an encounter of any sort so I was nervous and wanted to represent us in a positive manor. Also I was attending my niece's wedding and no one from my family said anything. Anyway it was over all positive. 2 thumbs up OR!
