Christ in a wagon... this exactly validates my argument that constitutional carry needs caveats.

Absolutely not. The problem with your mentality is that it turns rights into privileges. Review current law and police misbehavior in case you cannot figure out why.

So do police not need guns?

Milwaukee Police Department
Police Officers face danger every night. Last night was no exception. At 11 p.m., 900 block W. Orchard, 2 officers encountered gun battle between multiple people in alley. Officer discharges weapon, likely saving lives. Suspect fled, showed up later at hospital. Milwaukee Police spent night looking for rest of participants

Once again, the police are reactive instead of proactive. It is impossible to predict where all crime will happen.

Police said an officer did fire his weapon, but did not hit anyone.
What's this about "police are the only ones qualified to carry weapons"?

Tuesday afternoon, Chief Ed Flynn held a roll-call in the neighborhood to send a message....
"Our job out there is to prevent those crimes that lead to homicide. And if we do that, we'll prevent the homicides. And that's what we intend to do," Flynn told reporters.
Then they sure as HE11 haven't been doing their job! Flynn is too busy polishing his political image to work on crime. The real law enforcement professionals must cringe every time he opens his mouth.... The Milwaukee PD desperately needs some quality leadership.

Waukesha sex offender Marth freed from tight supervision

Pedophiles are never cured! Keep them locked up! Anyone want to say children should not be armed? Some of the most disgusting crimes happen to children and yet many will say children should not be armed? Why? So violence can happen to them? Makes me sick to my stomach!

Evans pleads not guilty in murder case

History of the perp: http://www.jsonline.com/watchdog/watchdogreports/122735754.html

Throw the book at him! Why don't we have the death penalty in this state? He was charged and convicted of felony beatings of school employees when he was 7 and then again at 9! He shot his own cousin in the back 4 years ago. Then, this passed December, her murdered a 17 year old girl by shooting her in the back! I have no sympathy for criminals like this!

Nothing short of miraculous that Milwaukee Police Officer not shot in gunfight w/armed suspect on 6/1. 10:53 pm, 37th & Clarke. 2 bicycle officers stop 2 suspects. 1 ran; officer ran after. Suspect reached for waist, officer Tasered w/o effect. Suspect pulled gun, repeatedly fired at officer, who returned fire. Suspect collapsed w/non life threatening gunshot wounds & arrested. Officer OK

Lot of good their police presence did if people are still shooting each other.
