sexual assault near Madistan school

http://www.nbc15.com/news/headlines...ison-School-Suspect-in-Custody-176438461.html
A 30-year old Madison woman was attacked and sexually assaulted as she walked behind Lincoln Elementary School Monday night. The victim suffered facial injuries as a result of the battery. She said her assailant – a stranger - was scared off by the headlights of a car.
Scared off by light, huh?
Think that maybe he'd have been even more scared by the intended victim being able to effectively protect herself?

I thought school zones were safe. No criminal activity allowed. :cuss: :banghead:

Suspected shoplifter uses stun gun to intimidate Greenfield store manager
Well, gee, she just has to be a licensee, since 1) she "pulled it out" and 2) it's illegal for anyone not a licensee to have an electric "weapon" in public like that. (I'm guessing the store wasn't hers, so that exception doesn't apply.)
