Midway Restricts Gun Rights
The Davidson County town of Midway is trotting out a tired old gun ordinance tried by a number of other towns along the way. It is seeking to outlaw discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a residence. Midway currently uses Davidson County's gun ordinance.
MIDWAY RESIDENCES NEEDED TO SPEAK
There will be a public meeting on the matter at Midway Town Hall on September 7 and 7 p.m. Everyone should attend, but actual Midway residences are needed to rise and speak out against the ordinance.
IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED
* Attend the meeting at Midway Town Hall (125 Gumtree Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27107) on September 7 at 7 p.m.
* Contact the city council and let them know your displeasure: http://www.townofmidwaync-gov.net/contact.html
* If you are a Midway residence who is willing to speak, please attend the meeting and speak up. Remember, it is your town.
