Just enjoyed another rowing session, and now it's time to play. I am going to Coyote Point in San Mateo...I know the range is closed, but Leann will be there on my hip as usual. I was unable to make contact with them to ask their policy. I will let you know what happens.

Saw Rangers all afternoon

Things went well at Coyote Point. We were at Magic Mountain 23. Ate, played football, walked by the ocean and watched aircraft land and depart. At one point, someone needed first aid and Rangers came by...no one said a thing. Great day to OC anyway...next stop, Manteca.

Thank you for sharing your anecdotes of 'no big deal' experiences. This definately helps erode the edges off the perception that only police encounters and (e) checks occur with open carry in California. The regularity and repetition plays a big factor in desensitizing the public to the presence of firearms as well.
