I wish I could. I live in Orange County and cannot afford to be there...
Will there be online coverage somewhere? Streaming video of speeches?

Right right. Okay, I'm planning on going on Saturday, after all, I hear there is free food on Saturday. If Sunday sounds interesting then I'll attend then too if I haven't had my brain overloaded with gun rights.

I received a call from head of security at the Hyatt (after he checked with corporate) and was told that they have a no firearms policy.

I guess UOC is out.

But how is that enforceable if you have a guest room there? They going to search your belongings and trespass you when they find your gun? And why would a gun rights convention host their event in a hotel that forbids firearms?

C-3, I was thinking the same thing. How can they have a "Gun Rights" Policy Conference at a place that restricts the very rights the conference is based on?.....

Why in the world would you book a conference on 2A rights with a business with a "no guns" policy??? I would think that this issue would be one of the first "no-compromise" items on your location suitability list during the selection process!
